autumn





i brushed my hand
against the face of autumn.
and at first i found him unbearably cold.

his eyes were sad
and his words were soft
like his heart was unbearably old.

i'll be okay
i gasped with pain
it'll just take a little time.

but when he reached out
and held me close
i knew that we'd be fine.

    Beautiful photos and personification. I love the idea of autumn being a man. That is wonderful. Kind of wishing he would show up right about now, but summer is still reigning supreme where I live.

    i smiled when i saw this post. i wonder why.
    funny thing is, this is kind of the way i feel about autumn too (like not me. the season. though technically that's not even my name...sooooo). autumn is a gorgeous time though <3
