12:00 a.m.

and all of the sudden

i looked around

and i was alone.

like there had never been anyone else

before that emptiness.

and all of the sudden

the fire went out

and the rain came.

like my clumsy heart had forgotten to seal away the tears

again.

but.

if i am alone now

it is because i was with them then.

and if they are only a good dream to me

i shall not be afraid of falling asleep

anymore
