Sometimes I'm convinced I'm only made up of memories.

Made up of the things people have said

                                                       done

                                                  forgotten.

But if I'm only made up of memories, 

I swear I'll be careful with yours.

The things you have said

and done

and forgotten.

That is really all I can offer you and

if you're scared

I understand.

If you only knew,

how much I love you

you'd understand too.

Because we've both got scars,

and sometimes the grey days wear on us all.
