Day One -
- bent beneath a Colorado storm.
- found a green place.
- made an adventure home.

Day Two -
- drowned in a Nebraska sky.
- found a new world.
- made friends with a statue.

Day Three -
- fell in love with Iowa.
- found my way.
- made a new mark in the soil.

  1. "Fell in love with Iowa" --please tell me you listened to "Queen of Iowa"! But seriously, that all sounds amazing. Road trips are epic.

    1. XDDDD I didn't listen, but I did hum it and was thinking about it all the way through those rolling green hills. ♥

  10. These are so so simple and beautiful. Having just traveled around Nebraska and staying in North Platte, I was excited to see the familiar looking map. I appreciate your love and enjoyment of he plains states, as many find them plain and boring. Though I must say, if you really want to be swallowed by sky, come to Kansas.
Can't wait to see more of these. So lovely.

    1. It's so true! I hear so many complaints about the dullness of the plains, but I never cease to be amazed when I'm among them. They remind me of how small and fragile I am...and I think that's a good thing.

I'm pretty sure I would adore the Kansas sky. I'll get there one day. Thank you! ♥
