what the flowers say



i listen to what the flowers say
though they speak only in whispers here.
i'm not sure you would like it.

they say that the great mystery of the world is loving.

to hear the glory of the Lord passing through the oak that lost his leaves.
to watch the green corn stalks that bear no crop.
to trace the lines of the earth that lead nowhere.

they say that the great mystery of the world is leaving.
it's like i have never seen your face before.

you know you love something when you can leave it.

that is what the flowers say
though they are dead.
that is what the flowers taught me.

but i'm not sure you would like it.
for it is a terrible truth to understand.

the truth being, even if i never see your face again,
i will still love you.

forever.



tried to have a photo shoot.
had a disaster. but it was a happy one. xx

    such sweet disaster; decay. and the truth oh the truth how delicate and strong willed how hard to shake off. lovely lovely oh it's chaotic in itself but watch them say goodbye and listen for them. don't worry too much they'll fall you can just keep laughing they like you it doesn't make leaving hurt. (they told me this :)

    okay, but like when you write, I just feel like I'm reading something from those in depth novels, ya know the ones that you just want to write down everything to remind yourself of later? I don't know...it's hard to put into words how perfect your writing is.
